Merry Xmas !

Hello (remaining) fans, people, haters and followers.

I admit, it wasn´t right that i haven´t answered you the past weeks, but private problems and things that are going to change my life completely, forced me to do/ work on other things.

All i can say is, that i haven´t forgot you, and the project “Custom-roms for i8910 / Nokia N8” issn´t dead at all. It´s just a long break for me to sort my life and to come back one day. Also pana the developer of Hx-patcher is really busy with his familie like all of us these days.
I really hope that most of you aren´t angry at all and can enjoy Christmas and it´s holidays.

Let´s think what was happening the last months …. or better all the year. And what will happen the next year. I really hope that i can find more time for you to continue my work and to give you the tweaks/mods/roms which you have expected all the year.

I know !

I know what i have promised last week, but without panagiotis i can´t update HXpatcher since he has all the sources. Unfortunately he doesn´t respond to any of my e-mails the last 7 (!!) days :(

I also got some news about an upcoming N8 official firmware. You can be excited about that very soon ! It seems that now i should more concentrate on Symbian^3 instead of Symbian^1 (i8910) i´m stuck anyway in this case !

Please understand that sometimes things doesn´t goes on as expected ! :|

new links for HX-V11 will come back online next days when pana has finished. Also a new beta for overclocking SE-Satio phones (last one didn´t work)

I am also working on the polish version, so you can also expect HX-V11 in polish.

+ end of next week i will create a new UDA file for Nokia N8, so hopefully the work can continue as expected.

Thank you for all comments and all your opinions, it seems that most of you share the same way like HX-custom-roms and PNHT to share  ideas/features and mods.
All we want is to give credits, nothing more.

What now?

After you read my situation about the modded dll and Marco don’t care anymore about this situation (he also don’t care about peoples opinion…) I decided to create a poll …........
Just note that i tried a lot of times to find a good way for all, but if marco can’t understand my situation, and can’t respect my work, i must ask you about your opinion… since i am doing all this stuff for the community and not for my own !

Deadline

Again some time has pass since my last post, and for sure you certainly thought what’s going on…

After having some private problems that aren´t solve at all, we at HX-custom-roms.com have some other problems with the Rompatcher developer Marco Belino.

First i want to say that in my opinion there was some missunderstoods so i´m not sure if everybody can understand what´s going on here.

Marco contacted me because i am using some modded dll for HXpatcher with the Overclocking possibility. First i gave him no credits in the (actual) changelog, but added it later correctly.

The Bad thing is, that Marco doesn´t accept/allow the current solution for HXpatcher because we have renamed some dll dependencies that are normaly used by the app Rompatcher itself.

“people could think that those components have been developed by you as part of your software”

HX-patcher has been developed by Panagiotis and me, the Overclocking solution has been only found by panagiotis itself, but together we was thinking how we can relize this project for public and how we can give you this feature like it´s done in the current version.
after i desperately looking for 2 weeks for a solution the only way to relize it, was to take the dll from Rompatcher and use it with HXpatcher. Unfortunately also Marco didn´t reply to any of my e-mails after i asked him if he has any idea how we can do it.

I´m really dissapointed about all this and about Marco´s opinion because he gave me a Deadline for today 24th Nov but i have no choice….

All links for HX-V11 will go OFFLINE until we find/add a new solution for HX-patcher. Also HX-patcher for Sony Ericsson phones will be delayed.

I´m alive !

Yes, you don´t believe it, but i´m alive ! After having again some problems with my site (you surly noticed it) everything is back to normal.

What about my private live? In this case, not everbody cares about it, so i´m trying to tell you in some short sentence:

I am separated from my girlfriend, we lived together in a flat, and now i really don´t know what to do. So if you know in which situation i am, you will know that this part of a life is not easy to handle ! These are more psychologically problems, and since this rom-cooking/modding is more a hobby from my own, the work doesn´t go on as expected !

But…. I´m very proud of my work and also what we have reached and done for the whole community, in other words, I will not quit my work, or change the way i go ! This time you only have to be patient and try to visit my site every day, because maybe there could be some news…..

After a really hard weekend, i am stuck in really serious private problems. Unfortunately i must tell you again, that i don´t know how much time i will have in the future.
The only good thing i can tell you is, that i will continue support/development for Symbian^1/^3 but don´t be angry if it takes (again) a little bit longer then expected.

Beta test for HXpatcher goes on. It seems we are still stuck on a bug. So please be patient (Sony erricson users)

As for now, all localizations are online, i also fixed the chinese one ! Check out the HX-V11 download page !
depended on my spare time next days i will look if i can create a polish version too.

Please understand due to some really serious private problems  with my girl friend, i haven´t much time atm to answer all questions via e-mail. But the next projects will be going on ! Also HXpatcher@Symbian^3 will be reality soon with some new tweaks.
